Q&A with Allison

Tell us about your career journey:

I was lucky to be have the opportunity to start the training and education for my career in high school at Pinkerton Academy here in Derry. I completed their cosmetology program and I also participated in skills USA where I was able to do hair competitions. I then went to beauty school after graduation. I worked as an assistant at another salon and also Drybar and now with all of those experiences, I am so excited to continue my career journey here at Alexander Hair Creatives.

What is your favorite service to provide/look to create?

I love to do all salon services but I think some of my favorites are braiding, color, and styling. I have a passion for textured hair.

Why do you love to work at Alexander Hair Creatives?

I love to work at Alexander Hair Creatives because it’s a very positive environment. We are all so welcoming, kind, and friendly and it is a wonderful space to grow and be creative.

What do you love to do in your free time?

In my free time I love to create art, bake, and read. I love spending time with my dog, Teddy. I also love music and being with friends and family.
